Review of Looper (2012) by Emod L — 02 Sep 2014
Decent sci-fi thriller starring Gordon-Levitt hot off the back of Inception and Willis, a man with a gun.
Looper however suffers from a few flaws the first during a montage in the film with Levitt on a rampage through China where it cuts midway from him to Willis( showing him getting older) with Willis wearing the worst wig Ive seen since Nick Cage. Unforgivable.
Also there are discrepencies with what we are told and what we see during the "future" scenes.
That aside the acting is pretty sound the backdrops are simple and effective and the story is very good but not spectacular..
