Review of Looper (2012) by Connor D — 28 Mar 2015
Time travel. A love story. Prosthetic noses. Time travel. Pretty much all you need to create a kick ass film. Well that isn't necessarily true and it does underplay how brilliantly enjoyable LOOPER was.
This is standard fare for Willis but it's Gordon-Levitt who really steps it up a notch (the physical make-over a masterstroke). It is genuinely thrilling, cool, appropriately futuristic and just plain fun.
If I could recommend any of the latter-half of 2012 releases, this would be leading the charge.
