Review of Looking for Eric (2009) by Shao-Yi C — 22 May 2009

It's a delightful, heart-warming piece and I really got into the story, especially in the later half. I believe audience who watched the film with me shared the same feeling for I could tell it from the laughter, cheering and applause from the big theater.

In some way, it's very unlike Ken Loach's films we used to see. Yet, his concerns are always there. I admire Ken Loach - he is such a great director and has been always keen to tell the stories of people from certain class.
