Review of Looking for Eric (2009) by Panos T — 17 Jun 2009
Even a Man U hater like me couldn't fail to enjoy this film. Its full of charm, self deprecating humour and illustrates beautifully the true meaning of being in a team. It doesn't shy away from the dark side of life and resists the temptation to make the football star the star. Ultimately its a story about love and redemption - Cantona, with his unique French philosophy, just helps along the way.
Recommended, even if you don't like football.
