Review of Looking for Eric (2009) by Gagan D — 19 Oct 2009
I was expecting a light hearted film like Nick Hornbys book Fever Pitch...until I turned the cover over and saw that it was directed by Ken Loach. That said, by the end of the film it was apparent that the film had a charm and heart about it.
(Spoiler alert)... Cantona was essentially the mans therapist appearing at occasions when the character needed inspiration when dealing with his son and his involvlment in local a gang. A nice film, if a little long and no Im not a Man Utd fan either.
