Review of Looking for Eric (2009) by Hari 'Wazza' S — 20 Apr 2010
You don't need to be a football fan to enjoy this touching drama. The film is a moving story about a guy struggling through life trying to come to terms with a lost love and also trying to bring up two sons on a northen council estate.
It provides a real rollercoaster of emotions thoughout, very gritty at times and also heartbreakingly sad but there are also moments of pure joy and comedy. All brilliantly directed by Ken Loach.
