Review of Look for the Silver Lining (1949) by James H — 31 Mar 2010
60/100. A very average musical, uplifted by good color cinematography, excellent art direction and fine costume design. It's certainly well produced. Very typical of it's day. There are some good tunes, but none of the music stands out.
But the score was nominated for an Academy Award. Rosemary DeCamp and Charlie Ruggles are quite good in supporting roles.
