Review of Look Back in Anger (1959) by Private U — 16 Apr 2008
They always say that Burton was too young to take the Angry Young Man lead role, but I thought he did a great job. There was one shot (or I guess transition shot?) I thought summed up the movie perfectly: after visiting his mother at the hospital, Burton starts yelling, "Hell! Hell! Hell!" and it immediately launches into a group of children screaming as they chase an expensive car.
It makes more sense if you've seen it, I guess.
