Review of Look at Us Now, Mother! (2016) by Bethany B — 27 Jul 2016
A remarkable film about a dysfunctional relationship between a mother and daughter and the journey to forgiveness. Not an easy process by any means, but attained through humor as well as dissecting the family's history of hidden darkness and unspoken secrets.
The path is a very rocky road at times, but is approached with great perseverance by the daughter, who is determined to engage her mom. Mother does come through albeit reluctantly at times. It's a very human story about fighting for resolution.
Well worth seeing!
