Review of Long Weekend (1979) by Brian S — 30 Jul 2007
Slow going "Nature gone crazy" flick from down under focuses mostly on the conflict between the husband and wife through-out most of the film. Unfotunately the two characters weren't interesting enough to hold my attention.
In addition, probably because of it's budget and seeming difficulty to control live animals, most of the horror is implicit. The end result is a none too exciting film drama-thriller that has some good ambience and a decent ending.
The zombie manitee was a nice touch though.
