Review of Lonely Hearts (1982) by Mira A — 14 Feb 2013
A dark detective drama set in the 1940s, Lonely Hearts has a LA Confidentail feel about it, although not quite as good. Hayek probably gives the best performance of the 3 leads, although Travolta and Leto also step credibly up to the plate.
The Fernandez role seems particularly different from the characters Leto usually plays. Although I think its a lesser known true story, the plot is quite predictable, which is why I've rated the film with only 3 stars.
