Review of Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance (1972) by Jonathan B — 14 Aug 2008
This movie feels more like a character and situation set up for the sequels, yet it holds it's own and goes out with a huge bang of nice body slicing and blood fountains.
It's more wooden and less furious than the Manga, but it works well in it's own way and gives room for some extraudinary cinematic moments.
