Review of Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in Peril (1972) by James W — 19 Mar 2008
Aside from the first Lone Wolf and Cub, this is the best in the series. And I don't say this because the opening shot in the movie is of a cool tattoo on a naked boob. As always, the direction is tight, the sword fights are fantastic and a beautiful character who flashes her opponents in battle is never a dealbreaker.
I dug how the story tied in with Ogami Itto's origins a bit more, but for as entertaining and over the top the final battle was, I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Damn good stuff either way.
