Review of Lone Survivor (2013) by Alberto G — 20 Jul 2014

Another one of those "based on" movies that are great until you start fact checking them. I do understand that a director will take a creative license to make a movie more dramatic or emotional, but to create moments that didn't remotely happen? That's a real let down.

The movie had action sequences that evoked Black Hawk Down. Fast, intense, gripping. The kind that makes us wonder why would people put themselves in those kind of situations.

It's a pity that the movie goes more into entertainment than into historical event. It had everything going for it.
