Based on true events, and if you believe wikipedia it seems they stayed true to the story most of the time. The real Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell, the only one who survived, has a Cameo at the beginning at the dinner table outside, where he smacks the coffee cup. Good supporting Cast with Eric Bana, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster. Funny Social Media mf Dan Bilzerian shows his face a couple of times throughout the movie. Corona and Mountain Dew are sponsors in here. This movie surprised me, its not you average pathos and patriotic filled bullshit war movie, nothing in comparison to what Berg produced in Battleship. The first action doesnt come up till nearly an hour, then it goes solid through half an hour, I liked how its been made, one of my favorites this year.
