Review of Lone Survivor (2013) by Dan B — 25 Dec 2014
I'm a 65 year old grandfather. I rented this movie and it was a true depiction of what happens in war. Im a Vietnam Veteran, 69,70,71. The sounds and simple reactions of all the acting was so very real.
While I would recommend to those that don't mind the realism to buy because it has a very good story line and acting is superb, I personally can't watch this again. The movie "The Deer Hunter" is very similar to this movie, which is a movie about Vietnam.
The acting and story line are excellent. I recommend this movie to rent and buy.
