Review of Lone Survivor (2013) by Mason C — 04 Feb 2015

I really loved Lone Survivor. Everything from the storyline to the character recreations to the actors themselves was incredible. There are many reasons why I would give this movie a 5 star rating. They made you feel as if you were in the fight besides them.

I especially liked how they used real people actually falling down hills to make sure that it was as real as possible. The cinematography was amazing as well. Some of the shots they had were amazing, and probably pretty difficult to get.

All of the effects they had really added to the main gun fight. While everything was very serious they were even able to throw in a little bit of humor when Luttrell was trying to get a knife to operate on himself.

The actors did a great job of portraying the lives that were lost, it is very apparent that they did their homework on the SEALS. Those who lost their lives in Operation Red Wings will be well remembered, thanks to Lone Survivor.
