What else can I say other than this movie is a super cliche claiming to be original based on the fact that it revolves around the true story of a NAVY SEAL(whom I respect for his service, not his claims) who survived an encounter with the Taliban.
It's nothing more than American soldiers trying to show their 'morals' while at the same time explosions are going off in every direction. It's just a recruitment video. This movie is no The Thin Red Line, FMJ, All quite on the western front(1930) and many other great war movies.
The movie tries to become the modern "Hell is for heroes" while failing miserably. If you like this movie for its military encounters thats fine, there's plenty of that going around with a shitload of Michael Bay style explosions.
But to consider this a great movie, you'd have to be mentally challenged.
