Review of Lone Survivor (2013) by Jason C — 12 Feb 2016

While this film does have a rather narrow focus - it does not engage in the rights or wrongs of the US presence in Afghanistan, for example - it certainly portrays the intensity of modern combat and the bond between troops successfully.

Definitely more than an action flick but yet not a modern Saving Private Ryan - but if you watch this and do not feel some form of admiration for those who serve, no matter what their beliefs, I would be amazed.
