One the best British films of the last decade, a very realistic, gritty and moving drama. The narrative structure is excellent and the increase of tension is expertly executed and the use of language and visuals are at times refreshingly different, the climax of the film is extremely satisfying too and the film keeps the spectator gripped all the way through, not a fun film but a very rewarding experience.
The actress who plays young prostitute Joanne gives a superb performance very affecting and I hope she got and continues to get the recognition she deserves.
