Review of London to Brighton (2006) by Ric P — 26 Aug 2007
Whilst this isn't the most original film in terms of plot or style, it does the "gritty underworld thriller" very well. Central performances are taught and believable, the plot reveals its secrets at a measured pace to keep the interest, and there was a definate feeling of dread.
Only downside for me was that I couldn't quite understand the character's motivation behind the twist in the final scene, but thats a minor niggle.
