This film could be called "Writing Has Fallen," as in, look how far the craft of screenwriting has sunk. Bad guys pop up, good guys shoot them; some things blow up, knocking the good guys out of the sky, who dust themselves off and shoot more bad guys.
My sense is that the "writers" of this drivel have not read a good book in a very long time, if ever, but do spend A LOT of time playing first-person shooters.
