Review of London Has Fallen (2016) by Martin P — 11 Jul 2016
The first one was nothing to write home about, but at least that was a decent Die Hard copy. This sequel makes the first film look like a masterpiece. From the constant stupid one-liners Gerard Butler is forced to say, to the silly dialogue itself, and the bad CG, the movie plays out like a video game where the endless shootouts and explosions are just a cover for everything else that falls short. At least Morgan Freeman brings it, which makes the movie a little more bearable.
Grade: C.
