Review of London Has Fallen (2016) by Rico F — 23 Jul 2016
I have to say that Gerard Butler saved this film for me. I like him as an actor in general and his chemistry with Aaron Eckhart was a constant bonus throughout. The fact that Gerard Butler single handedly disposed of all the terrorist threats himself was a little far fetched but he did it with gusto and kept it entertaining with his quirky comments.
Not a bad watch. I think though in the current world we live in, having films with this sort of a storyline might actually be a negative. In the past, the plot would have simply been a Hollywood action film but things like this are becoming more and more realistic.
Maybe we shouldn't be giving the bad guys anymore ideas.
