Review of London Has Fallen (2016) by Don S — 23 Jul 2016

To begin with, I liked this movie! Butler owns his role and the action is non-stop! Decent set up of the plot too! Basically, you have the biggest security f up since the Bush/Cheney reich, and terrorists go after a half dozen of the world's leaders! It's chock full of acting stars, and I love that Kelly Leak is in it! But it does suffer from very poor CGI during the big attack scene, and the plot feels a lot like "Live Free or Die Hard".

Also an overabundance of f words, not "Midnight Run" amount, but definitely Quentin Tarantino-ish, most of which seem to be said just for the f of it! And finally, the pro-American speeches and opinions seem a bit too right-wingy, at least for me! Still, Butler goes wild and Morgan Freeman rules, as usual!
