Review of London Boulevard (2010) by Derek C — 27 Mar 2011
A wholly unoriginal gangster story in a world of unoriginal gangster films. The writer of "The Departed" decides to go behind the camera, but must have left Scorcese's number in his other Blackberry, and it shows.
Some interesting dialogue is a highlight - but from a writer turned director should that come us a surprise? - but a plot lacking and a predictable ending throw the talented cast by the waste side like a John Doe in cement boots.
