Review of London Boulevard (2010) by Brian B — 18 Apr 2012
If you've read Ken Bruen's books and are familiar with Monohan's work, than this film is well done. It's good ol' film noir with unique characters and subplots. Farrell gives an honest performance as a gangstar looking to end his criminal life.
And of course, such a hope drives conflict and violent resolutions. Not a fan of Knightley...wish they had somone better and wish the love story could have been more prevelant. Over-all...I liked this film.
