It's surprising that this film was once considered scandalous. Although the suggestion of love and sexual relations between a grown man and a teen is certainly risque, the film offers nothing but suggestion.
There is no explicit sex or nudity. I guess that's just a sign of the times. Peter Sellers is fantastic as usual.
