Review of Logan's Run (1976) by Michelle G — 20 Apr 2010
For all the imagination and originality of William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson's story, this film has not aged well. The production design and Oscar-winning special effects are so mired in the 70s as to be laughable by modern standards, which makes the film suffer as a whole - the weak performances don't help.
Though it's often considered a sci-fi classic, this one just doesn't hold up. Interesting electronics-based score by Jerry Goldsmith.
