Review of Logan's Run (1976) by Clara E — 15 Dec 2013
For such an iconic film it's remarkably bland. The plot doesn't seem to know what to do once it gets past the setup and neither of the two leads display anything resembling a personality. It also fails to establish why any of the plot happens or why we should care.
About the only clever thing about it is the question of the lead's motivations: is he just trying to do his job or does he actually care? And they resolve it with no drama or inner conflict.
