For a film about a heist at a Nascar race track, it lacks a certain amount of energy. It's a nice tale with interesting characters with good performances from Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and especially Daniel Craig who seems to revel in his opportunity to provide a comedic performance as explosives expert Joe Bang.

Similarly to the Ocean's trilogy (also directed by Steven Soderbergh) the plot is a convoluted one and it doesn't always pay off, for example, I think the film could have done without the appearance of Seth McFarlane who appears to be doing the oddest English accent ever committed to film, why he's pretending to be English is anyone's guess.

I did have fun whilst watching the film and I did find that the funniest part was a conversation involving Game of Thrones.

Logan Lucky is not a classic but it a film with heart and well worth seeing.
