Review of Logan Lucky (2017) by Thomas F — 12 Dec 2017

Logan Lucky lets its stars break out of their comfort zones a little, and the result is fantastic. Driver, Craig, Tatum, Holmes, and really the entire cast really bring their acting chops to this movie in a way that, to many of them, is quite unique withing their respective careers.

I felt that the plot seemed a bit muddy at times- from major decisions seeming to be made off screen to important revelations being seen in flashbacks, causing a strange phenomenon in which the characters appear to be somewhat passive while also nearly omniscient. However, these moments are certainly overshadowed by the enjoyable action, humor, and drama that this film provides.
