What can I say about Lockout? NOTHING. It was so incredibly average, nothing bad but nothing that noteworthy either. Sure Guy Pierce was pretty good as the cheesy, badass douchebag but I walked out of there with my logical mind screaming. Explosions in space, skydiving in a vacuum, and he DIDN'T get the girl??!
Newton turning in his grave aside, if you're looking for a B-Movie with special effects any guy with Blender and a green bedsheet can do, and some solid acting from a classic action hero, then this is the movie for you. Just don't expect too much while watching it. I went in there expecting epic piles of faecal matter, but was actually impressed, slightly...
All in all it's a great time killer, just assume that with swag, stuff explodes in a vacuum and debris magically disappears.
