Review of Lockout (2012) by Justin B — 14 Sep 2012

Incredibly dimwitted and riddled with cliches, 'Lockout' really only works as a mildly entertaining spiritual successor to 'Escape From New York'. The editing and direction is spastic, almost nauseating; to the point where even the dialogue scenes seem to be intended as an adrenaline rush.

The chase scene at the beginning of the film in particular is just horrendous and could actually be one of the worst action scenes I've ever seen in a bigger budget hollywood film.
