Review of Lockout (2012) by Andreas O — 02 Nov 2012

Escape from New York - in space! Lockout is a neat surprise, really. More well-directed and thought out than a film of this simple format would usually be, with an opening scene that had me hooked at once.

The actors all do a decent job and the plot feels natural for the most part. If anything, the two stories of the rescue mission and Snow's quest for redemption don't always mix that well. Perhaps not an instant classic, but not a bad movie.
