Review of Lockout (2012) by Charles S — 19 Nov 2012
So much fun. Unrelenting, unapologetic, solid action. Could have used a script change during the pod-launch scene and a cleaner editing during the halo sequence. Still, all-in-all the best action movie in years.
Maybe even a recast of the Peter Stormare character or at least have him drop the failed attempt at an American accent (he would never make a clandestine agent with that inability to sound out 'R's without an 'L' sound).
At least the American viewing audience may rest assured the future crisis is not a communist invasion. But how much safer are they with an prison break of crazed violent criminals lead by a pair of ruthless Scots holding the President's daughter captive while sending the space station prison's trajectory hurling toward the eastern seaboard.
This is the stuff!
