Review of Lockout (2012) by Spyros T — 20 Nov 2012
I wasn't expecting something great since Luc Besson has written and produced a lot of crap lately. Saving the president's daughter from an outer space prison sounds like a plot of a SNES game. It felt like an action film made in the 90's, and not in a good way.
Escape from New York, plus Space starring Plissken, er I mean, Snow. The acting talent of Guy Pearce provides strong mileage, as does some comparatively clever writing during the Earth-set prologue/epilogues, but as a whole this left me fairly disappointed.
