Review of Lockout (2012) by Connor D — 01 Dec 2012

Lockout is a very entertaining film. Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace portray two very likable and well defined and fleshed out characters, equipped with great chemistry and some fun one-liners. Sadly, the rest of the film really doesn't amount to much.

The story is very flat and shallow and the whole thing just feels a little dead in places. Thankfully the film is short enough and just fun enough to avoid being utterly terrible and it's jocular tone and B-movie style are interesting.

Had potential, but has to settle for ok.
