Review of Lockout (2012) by Trent G — 26 May 2013
There is nothing new about the genre. There is nothing new about the cast. There is nothing about this movie that makes you want to commit any time. However, if you come across it while surfing you might be find yourself committing the time.
Not for the plot. Not for the special effects (don't exist). Not for the continuous action. The main reason you would do it in for Snow (Guy Pierce) and his lines. The wise cracks are funny and the repartee smart indeed.
The other reason is that whenever things appear to be slowing the editing ensures you just land up at another scene but without it seeming to jar the flow which is a commendable achievement. All in all as we say back home "Timepass".
