Review of Locke (2014) by Vadim D — 20 Aug 2014
Tom Hardy is fantastic and turns in a great performance in a mediocre film. I get the social commentary that so much of our life can now happen on your cell phone and in your car, but this is not groundbreaking material.
The film is initially intriguing since there is no exposition, but once the story unfolds, it just becomes a one man show for Hardy...and while a fine show it is, it quickly becomes irrelevant.
