Review of Locke (2014) by Richard S — 10 Sep 2014
I suppose a film like this needed to be made just to find out if it worked. Well, it doesn't. Though the idea of staying on one person while his world breaks down is compelling, it wears thin rather quickly.
You begin to detach, and by the end of the film, you don't care anymore. It helps if you've read a primer on obstetrics and concrete pouring before you watch this long drive. Bottom line: one star for trying.
