Review of Locke (2014) by Andy W — 01 Nov 2014
Sorry, but whilst this DRAMA is a good film, I thought it was totally mis-sold as a 'nail-biting thriller'. It's a drama about a man in his car, driving, taking lots of phone calls as his life unravels.
Hardy does a good Richard Burton, although it could have easily been a comedy if Rob Brydon had done his Anthony Hopkins talking concrete for 82 mins. It's different, watchable, but not what I was expecting from the blurb on the DVD box nor the hype surrounding it.
