Review of Locke (2014) by Iowa B — 14 Dec 2014
"Locke" is a good example on how you to make a greatly effective film with very little resources. Stephen Knight knows how to make use of the idea of closed spaces and understands that even a series of phone calls can be intriguing if well crafted.
Watching Tom Hardy is a delight, as well, as he is not only able to flesh out Ivan Locke, but his gestures contribute to the film's sense of tension.
