Review of Locke (2014) by Trevor R — 16 Dec 2014
"Locke" is a better script than a movie, and Stephen Knight likely a better writer than director, but Locke (the character) makes up for that, brought to life by the indomitable Tom Hardy in an utterly transfixing one-man-show performance.
This is an emotionally complex and mature film; "adult" not for content, but rather for the aching, weighty themes that only a bonafide grown-up could seek to comprehend or grapple with.
