Review of Locke (2014) by Don W — 21 Jan 2015
Separating Tom Hardy's performance from the story is important. It's a one man show, and takes place entirely behind the wheel of a car. Novel concept that Hardy responds to brilliantly. My main problem is that the entire story is based on Hardy's character being a complete dumbass.
It makes it rather hard to identify with him at all.
