Review of Locke (2014) by Ryan C — 08 Feb 2015
Tom Hardy is absolutely phenomenal in Steven Knight's really well scripted film. Never has a man driving a car and talking on the phone about concrete (an other things of course) been so damn compelling.
Gorgeously photography, wonderfully performed, fantastically written and well scored; this film exceeds the limitations of its budget to tell a great story. It is films like this that makes me glad the independent cinema is thriving.
