Review of Locke (2014) by Anthony S — 29 Mar 2015
Next time someone says, "I could listen to so-and-so read from the phone book," point them to this film -- where Tom Hardy not only does most of the talking, but does so from his car for the entire film.
It's Hardy who makes this bold premise work, playing a man who's trying to do the right thing -- be there for the birth of his son (conceived during an affair) while trying to hold together his marriage and family.
Hardy is so good you want the long highway ride -- and this film -- to keep going.
