Review of Locke (2014) by Jeff D — 09 Aug 2015
Tom Hardy never ceases to amaze me with his ability to craft a character using his choice and use of language. Locke demonstrates that skill to the level of the sublime. The plot is limited to a single scene, but the range and depth of emotion is immense.
The entire drama rests upon his use of dialogue to tell this emotional tale. I doubt many could see this without being touched by its sincerity. Not much else can be said without spoiling it. it is a must for those who enjoy witnessing great emotional performances.
