Review of Locke (2014) by Udit C — 18 Jan 2016
This was a hard movie for some to swallow. It literally involves nothing more than Tom Hardy in a car on his way somewhere, on the phone trying to deal with a work issue.
That's about it. But the mixture of the writing, Tom Hardy's magnetic performance and some intelligent editing, makes this a far more compelling film that it has any right to be on paper. The cinematic one man band of the year.
