Review of Locke (2014) by Colby B — 16 Nov 2015
This movie is a tour de force for Hardy. He has had many, many brilliant performances and will continue doing so. But his job in Locke was captivating. It is not proper to compare it to Drive, which, although it too was a great movie, it was for many different reasons.
Locke is a one-man army led by a man who handles much adversity in a calm, stoic manner. The plot sounds dull. But fire up the movie and when it is over, you will be shocked how glued to the screen you actually were.
